Murmuration
experimental | a personal research project exploring flocking and collective motion in birds through an interactive browser-based simulation. individual birds follow local rules, forming a shifting field that responds to your presence and adjustable controls.
this personal study explores how simple interactions between neighbouring birds can produce coordinated movement at the scale of a flock. separation, alignment and cohesion give rise to patterns that continuously change as the birds respond to one another and to your input.
